Take a ride on "the route des Crêtes" and stop at the view points, you will understand why the Verdon has become a unique site for its beauty but also for rock climbing.
However, it is easy to feel impressed by this atmosphere and the urge to climb there can almost seem incongruous ... We are all local climbing guides living all year round on site and have perfect knowledge of the canyon. Whether on perfectly boplted stress-free beginner cliffs or on the multi pitches routes of the Gorges, we will always be available to advise and support you, whatever your level.

    Superb sequence of lengths on gray rock, very homogeneous in level 6a.

    A nice combination of 2 routes on a beautiful pillar with superb pitches (especially the Razor pitch)

    ** Ciao Zidane, 110m:

    5 magnificent lengths with breathtaking views of the Lac de Ste Croix and the exit of the Gorges.

    150 m of abseiling then a via cordata and finally we reach these incredible slabs and sculpted walls which will require good foot technique!

    First route opened in Escalès in 1968, it remains a demanding myth, old-fashioned climbing and very sustained in cracks/chimneys. Awesome.

    After crossing the Verdon with a zip line, you reach the imposing wall of the Duc which displays this magnificent modern route in 6b. Back in 4 fully exposed abseils!

    ** Liberté Surveillée, 180 m :

    Here, the abseil access allows you to take full measure of the superb wall of the Imbut with the Verdon 200m below, right under your feet!

    It's steep, fingery, it's gray and fully exposed: you're in the Verdon!

    No length to throw away for this 250 m route located in the Maline sector. The length on the "blade" is simply exceptional...

    Another mythical route in the Verdon, a visionary opening that allows you to explore the large gray bulge of Escalès from bottom to top.

    A notch above the Valse pour Manon, it runs the same wall of the Duc and offers modern climbing of great beauty.

    Another beautiful modern route that allows you to discover the wall of the Imbut at the "limit of human possibilities"

    Tufas, overhang, no no, you are not sport climbing but right in the middle of the Duke wall! A must-do.

    ** Mescalito, 250 m :

    One of the must-do in the impressive Red Wall, which will resist until the end. A difficult classic in the "trad" category counting for the list of future pros.
