After 30 minutes of walking, we’ll reach a spectacular diaclase, so narrow that it feels like being underground. Its unique climate makes it a true natural vivarium. We’ll continue with rappels, handrails, and zip lines ranging from 5 to 50 meters, before reaching the Verdon River. The final rappel plunges us into the most wild and preserved part of the gorges, far from any road or trail. After a lunch break, we’ll start the descent of the Verdon, a grand route in a Jurassic-like setting. Our adventure ends at the Mayreste footbridge, symbolizing our return to civilization, followed by a 40-minute final climb to the vehicles. This activity, one of the most beautiful in our catalog, is also the most demanding. It requires excellent physical condition for a full day of intense and immersive adventure.
