The Blanc-Martel Trail is the most iconic hike of the Verdon Gorges. Spanning nearly 15 km through the Grand Canyon, it immerses you in breathtaking landscapes between vertiginous cliffs, river-side passages, and stunning panoramas. The route starts at the Chalet de la Maline and gradually descends toward the Verdon. Along the way, you’ll discover legendary spots such as the Imbert Gap with its impressive metal stairs, or the Martel Trail tunnels, remnants of an unfinished hydroelectric project. While longer than the Imbut Trail, the Blanc-Martel Trail remains slightly more accessible. However, it requires good endurance and some experience in hiking on varied terrain. An unforgettable hike, perfect for fully immersing yourself in the wild beauty of the Verdon!
